Schools need expert support and guidance in order to create robust plans and make appropriate decisions about technology integration, platforms and systems.

    Technology Program Audit

An objective external assessment of the essential conditions needed to support high-level technology adoption.

A Consilience technology audit leverages decades of combined experience in a variety of school contexts to help a school achieve its technology and learning goals. Research-based data gathering tools allow our consultants to produce a personalized report that clearly illustrates the strengths and areas of growth relative to a school’s targets.

Mapping Curriculum to the ISTE Standards for Students

Designed for technology leaders, integrators, grade-level leaders and subject heads of department.

The ISTE technology standards for students are a powerful lens through which to frame technology integration activities. It takes many years of experience for curriculum leaders to comprehensively develop and map innovative learning experiences to these standards. Consilience offers global experience in this area along with the know-how to avoid common pitfalls and wasted time.

    Designing Great Digital-Age Learning Engagements

This service is designed for grade-level or subject teams with 4 to 5 days of full-day group training that will yield transformative learning engagements using technology.

Learning engagements that promote deeper learning use technology to encourage higher-level thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration and empower learners to make valuable contributions to their classrooms, community, and other online environments. We provide support in helping teams design these transformative experiences.

    Professional Learning Plan Development

2 to 3-day retreat designed to help technology directors and tech integration coaches develop a robust technology professional learning plan for teachers.

Adult learning is a unique challenge and requires a different approach to allow teachers to grow their skills and effectively transform teaching and learning. We will work with your team to develop a robust plan that accounts for the wide variance in teacher skill levels, independence, and experience with technology integration.

    Technology Strategic Planning

Technology visioning exercise for a representative team including ed tech staff, teachers, librarians, curriculum leaders, and coaches.

A school’s technology plan must be grounded in an adaptive and agile strategic vision that is able to respond to shifting trends in learning technologies while remaining grounded in a coherent mission and vision aligned with the goals of the school. Creating this vision and building this plan is complex work that requires expert guidance and support from experienced practitioners.

    Self-Led Tech Integration Audit

Empower your team to finally gather solid data on the extent and level of rigor of technology integration at your school.

In considering the value that technology can add to learning, it is important to curate and examine student artefacts over time. This can be done using the ISTE Student Standards and Bloom’s Digital
Taxonomy. A visual data engine will assist educators and schools in analysis and decision making. Walkthroughs and self-audits by teachers can also provide valuable insights.
